Disposable period underwear: sizing and use
Check the format and the waist measurements for the exact style. A familiar letter size is not a universal fit chart.
Period underwear can mean a washable garment or a disposable product. Those formats have different care instructions. X9's period underwear products are disposable: choose them using the instructions and size information for the particular style, not a reusable underwear guide.
Disposable and reusable are different products
| Format | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Disposable period underwear | Its single-use labeling, waist guide, intended use and disposal instructions. Do not assume it can be washed and reused. |
| Reusable period underwear | The manufacturer's laundering and reuse instructions. Those instructions do not apply to a disposable X9 item. |
How do you choose the size?
- Open the exact style you want. Start with X9 Period Underwear. X9 also lists a separate Cloud Disposable Overnight Period Underwear style. Check current availability before planning an order.
- Read what the chart measures. Use the waist measurement and any measurement instructions shown for that product. Do not substitute a hip measurement or a regular clothing size.
- Measure in the same units. Use a flexible tape at the location specified by the chart. Compare inches with inches or centimeters with centimeters. Keep the tape level and do not pull it tight to make a size fit.
- Compare the full stated range. An M/L label on one X9 style does not establish the same waist range on another style. Use that style's own guide rather than copying another product's chart.
- Resolve missing information first. If your measurement sits outside the listed range or the chart does not answer your question, ask X9 before ordering. Do not guess a larger size as a substitute for a verified range.
What does an overnight label promise?
An overnight label identifies the style's intended use. It does not by itself supply a tested absorbency amount, an uninterrupted wear duration or a guarantee against leaks. Read the original packaging, product details and instructions for your selected option. This guide makes no product-specific wear-time claim.
How should you handle a disposable item?
Check the package condition and follow the product's directions for putting it on, changing it and removing it. Do not improvise a removal method if the instructions are unclear. Dispose of the used item as directed and do not launder it for reuse.
The CDC's general menstrual hygiene advice includes washing hands before and after handling menstrual products, changing products regularly and placing used disposable products in the trash rather than a toilet. Its washing guidance for reusable underwear should not be applied to disposable products.
How many pieces does one order contain?
Choose the size before checking packaging. The package count refers to individual underwear pieces, not a guaranteed number of days of use. Cart quantity buys the selected selling package: two packages of 20 pieces would contain 40 pieces. Check the actual live option rather than applying that example to every style.
Is this the same as adult incontinence underwear?
No. Period underwear and adult incontinence underwear are listed for different intended uses. Do not use a similar appearance or matching letter size as proof they are interchangeable. Browse disposable period underwear for menstrual-use options, or visit Adult Care for the separate adult-care catalog.
